Currently, I have been lucky enough to set aside around a year to bounce around wherever the wind may take me. Back in Canada, I am a Dietitian working out of the East Coast.

I am am a sucker for a yummy beer and am easily blown away by a good sunset!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Through my adventures I have met many people who have spoken very highly about their couch surfing experiences and how it has enriched their travelling!
When I travel, I prefer to share experiences with people who call that place home and attempt to see that new location through their eyes, rather than just checking off the boxes of landmarks to take photos with. I am looking for opportunities to learn from all the people I meet!

Interests

I love to learn about local food systems, plants/wildlife in the areas. I am walker! My favorite way to explore a new area is to walk it, and would love to hear about any trails/ hikes nearby. My evening hobbies included music, friends, wine, and conversation.

Music, Movies, and Books

I appreciate all music but find myself more often listening to alternative/ indie style songs and artists.
I prefer fiction novels that really describe the mental characteristics of the characters (ex Shantaram)
I could never choose a favorite movie but I am a huge fan of Inception, The Usual Suspects, Blow, and Crazy Stupid Love

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just over a year ago I moved out to Atlantic Canada and moved into a house full of people I met on FB marketplace. I can easily say this is one of the most amazing things I’ve done because I could have never imagined the friends and experiences that would come from my east coast adventure!

Teach, Learn, Share

I recently completed my yoga teachers certification and would love to flow with anyone who is interested!
I am slowly but surely getting better at French and would appreciate all the help I can get.
I am all about sharing stories and laughter, over a good meal :)
