Brought up on a sheep farm in Southland. I live in town in Invercargill. I am qualified in Early Childhood Education and am currently working as a nanny with a disabled child.
Visiting Nepal, India, USA, the Caribbean and South America in 2017/2018.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and experience different cultures. Had my first couchsurfing experience (hosting) and I loved it, I can't wait to experience couchsurfing again. I took my guests to my parents sheep farm, gave them a lamb roast for tea and showed them around the area.

Interests

I love animals and travelling. I want to go to as many countries as possible. I have a pet house sparrow, that I have hand raised as a baby bird and a border collie who I train to compete in agility. I have 9 chickens which the majority are rescued.. I love them, they have awesome personalities! I am very much an animal lover, I will save a injured or stray animal in a heartbeat. Therefore if you do not like animals, we would probably not get along very well.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a range of music from country to new music. I enjoy comedy movies such as Step Brothers and horror movies. I do like reading books, the last book I read was a true story of an Auschwitz surviver. I read it mainly because I was visiting Auschwitz on my 21st birthday in 2015.
