I'm a 27 years old girl from Belgium. One year ago, I left my sweet Belgium to live in Canada. I didn't know how long or exactly where, the only thing I knew : I wanted to face a new challenge. That's why I spent my last year in Montreal, my new home (in fact it could be if my working visa was not over at the end of the month).

I'm kind, honest, respectful and open minded. I even can be funny if my audience is (very) compassionate with me. Let's meet around a coffee, a drink or a chocolate cake and you will see ;).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The question is in fact... What's my plans for the nexts months ?

After having lived in Montreal during 1 year, [the most inspiring and wonderful year I could hope for] i've decided to take my backpack and travel around the US.

But.. Why ? Obviously to discover a country I only know through cinema, series and news. I had a fixed idea before living in Montreal (not always positive, I have to admit) but by living here, I've discovered the beauty of North America (the diversity, the landscapes, the people) and I want to go further.
I do it alone... beyond the challenge it represents, I need a break before going back to Belgium. Open myself to new people (locals or travelers like me ) could definitively help me. In bonus, why not improving my very approximative English ;) !
Of course, I will be happy to meet you and discuss about what you love and what you think about... everything.

Finally, what's my plans ?

The only thing I know is that I land in New Orleans the 1st of April with a friend (she leaves the 6th). I really want to go to Chicago and San Fransisco. I don't have a any limit of time - no return ticket - (I want to stay free) the limit is more in my bank account (if you know what I mean ;)). My way is gonna depend on the opportunities I'm gonna meet on the road.
