I am 19 years old and plan to travel to South America with a male companion (age 22). I have not spent any extensive period of time away from the state I grew up in and have had a desire to leave for quite some time now. I currently reside in the San Fransisco Bay Area, work a crappy retail job, and plan to leave in a month or two.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about this site from a friend and became increasingly excited as I read through various profiles. As I will be traveling soon, I do not have a couch to offer at the present time, however, as soon as I am in a position to do so I will.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have much traveling experience, I've squated in England with friends I made there and have surfed couches in the town I live in currently. My couches in the past have been home to many traveling kids and friends. I currently have two people living on my couch.

When I am not couch surfing I plan to be wwoofing, and learning about organic farming, self sustainable living, perma culture etc. I plan to learn about all aspects of self sustainable living and communal living
