Hallo my name is Sarah Valentine. I was born in a little town called Ceres, which is surrounded by mountains and beautiful green trees. I studied Education at the University of Stellenbosch to become a teacher. I live in Ceres by work in Wolseley, Western Cape, South Africa. I love to smile, laugh and be happy!! So I can probably say that I’m quite a happy camper! I seek to see the positive in all things!

I want to try new things in life, get to meet people from different cultures, see beautiful places and broaden my knowledge about this place we call “earth”.. (I need that very much – even though I’m a teacher, my knowledge about travelling is scary.. eeekkk)

Interests

I absolutely looovvvveeee music..!! When I turn my music on, the world gets turned off.! It takes me to a faraway world where I can enjoy being myself! I also like being with my family and friends, ooohhh and love going out with friends to go dancing, watching a good movie, doing arts and crafts, camping in the wilderness, swimming anywhere (recently learned how to snorkel and scuba dive), having a barbeque, eating different kinds of food and photography..!!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all genres of music!! Except the shouting of heavy metal songs (the musicality is great though) and opera singing! Artist I enjoy listening to is: Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, Keith Urban, George Ezra, One Republic, Beatles, Billy Joel, Bob Marley, Fleetwood Mac, Tracy Chapman, Mumfords and Sons, Adele, Bon Iver, Cat Stevens, Coldplay, Enya, Gypsy Kings, Imogen Heap, Kings of Leon, Michael Jackson and sooooo many more..!! Oh yes, and since I’m Afrikaans speaking and love to dance, I also listen a lot of Afrikaans artists' music! And of course some party tracks from the most recent tunes..!

I don’t really like reading, I prefer ‘watching the storyline’..! Hehe.. Movie genres I like is animations, romantic comedies, thrillers, horrors and some drama’s! Some of my favourite movies thus far: Wreck It Ralph, The Lion Kings, The Legends of the Guardians, Avatar, Rio, Tangled, The Croods (okay, I love animations the most) And also The Notebook, Titanic, Jango Unchained, The Hobbit, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Warm Bodies, …etc.
