Hello!

My name is Sarah and I was born and raised in Southern California. I went to college for psychology at Oregon State University where i fell in love with the outdoors. I am a passionate runner and have ran 3 full marathons and 8 half marathons since 2012. I also play soccer, volleyball, and surfing.

Ever since I was young traveling has been on my list of things to do. Now that i have gotten an education and recently received a job opportunity as a kindergarten teacher in Prague this September, this is the time to explore new cultures and beautiful countries.

My favorite Music would honestly be variety. I can't seem to pick just one genre of music. I thin music is an expression of what mood your in and what activity you are doing. My favorite books include Half the Sky, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Color Purple, and The Help. My top movies would be Blue Crush, Catch me if you can, Wild, and the Harry Potter Series :)

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

This past year while living in Oregon, I went backpacking through the wilderness for 2 nights all by myself. When you backpack you have to carry everything including water on you. It was no easy task going out into the wilderness to explore all alone and cook your own food and set up camp but I did it and never felt more empowered and Independent.

I love teaching people how to run marathons as well as surf and play futbol. Learning from others is probably one of the most valuable things you can do for yourself and I am always down for learning new things. i enjoy sharing conversations and ideas with new people over good food and good beer :)

I can share with hosts my experiences exploring the great outdoors as well cooking homemade Mexican food! I am half Mexican (I know hard to believe) but my grandmother taught me how to cook amazing food and I enjoy cooking for others.
