In my opinion the best way to get to know a new country/culture is to meet the people. It is always an inspiration to talk to someone you didn't know before. You can visit a place without really understanding it when you don't meet people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I turned 18, I got a voucher for skydiving. So one day I went there with a friend, who also wanted to do it and we got partners for a tandem. My stomach was feeling really crazy when we were sitting in the small plane. Before we jumped out I was hanging in the air in 4000m height. I will never forget the feeling falling down with 200km/h.

Now that I'm living in central america I'm feeling like I'm learning so much about people from different cultures. Here the culture is so different from what I'm used to and the people have another way of living. I think this year in Costa Rica really helps me understand better how the world works (if you can ever understand it which I doubt) and also I really feel which habits that I'm used to I really like and what I can learn from them.
