ABOUT ME

I'm a freshly graduated alum of Penn State. During the summers I reside in Stuttgart, Germany, but I consider Anchorage, Alaska home. While I like to think I've seen a lot of the world, the more I travel, the larger the world seems to get.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't live in any one place for longer than 4 months in quite a while (and when I'm at school I live in a little baby of an apartment), so unfortunately I don't usually have a couch to share. What I can offer is an entertaining surfing who likes to clean and makes killer cookies!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just one experience, one which I'll consider a "false start" so to speak. We had just arrived in Vitoria, Brazil, hot off an overnight bus from Rio de Janeiro, and no one could figure out how to use the Brazilian pay phones to call our host. Not us, not the locals, not the station workers. As the minutes rolled on, the reality of a hotel began to become a possibility until finally, we made our way to the good ole Isis Budget Hotel.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Two friends and I competed in a contest called Red Bull Can You Make It in the spring of 2014. We were tasked with getting from London to Berlin in 1 week using just Red Bull for currency. We met so many amazing people along the way and it really made us realize that most people are just so genuinely good. It was amazing.
