ABOUT ME

Most people would describe me as a very versatile person, who likes sitting on a couch chatting with people as much as going out and dance like crazy. I got grasped by the travelling virus pretty late and have only started visiting different countries since a few years, so I still have a lot to see and do!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I'm only starting to discover couch surfing, but I'm all in: hosting, surfing and hanging out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't had a lot of experiences yet, but my introduction to CS was in Aberdeen, where my friends and I cooked a lovely risotto for our host and got dragged to a great housewarming party afterwards! It was a wonderful, spontaneous experience and I hope to have many more like it. In New York I saw so many wonderful places I would never have seen without CS and I love the fact that you never have to travel alone, 'cause your travel buddies are only a mouse click away.

Music, Movies, and Books

To enlist a favourite book between all the ones I read is certainly too much to ask. I can give my three top movies though; they would be Vanilla Sky, Requiem for a Dream and Big Fish.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If I have to list just one thing, it would definitely be bungeejumping from the Verzasca Dam in Switzerland :) But seeing the pyramids of Egypt, scootering around at Bali and going on an adventure in Dutch wastelands were memorable as well ;)
