ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Sarah, a California native, now living in the Midwest. I'm married, with two creative children. I work as a reporter for my town paper and enjoy crafting. I have my own business making clutch purses and accessories, which I hope to be a bit more productive with in 2014. I enjoy all of the arts, exploring new places and meeting new people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently, I am looking to meet people in the places I am going to travel. I often travel solo or with one friend, and always welcome a locals perspective, tips and company.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not yet hosted or stayed with any couchsurfing members.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love live music. Lately, I have been listening to M83, WAVVES and Deer Tracks, but love older 80s Joy Division, Depeche Mode and the Smiths.

Some of my favorite movies are Blue Velvet, Midnight in Paris and Moonrise Kingdom.

My favorite authors are Kurt Vonnegut, Douglas Copland and David Sedaris.

Teach, Learn, Share

My dream is to travel the world learning about textile design or learn a new craft. I have a background in marketing, and would love to help teach others to market their own handmade craft or idea.
