ABOUT ME
I'm a life-long learner who only survives by being as equally creative and artsy as analytical and quantitative. I own a little aquatic turtle (named Phelps; he's fast) and have an overwhelming love for dogs. I'm always trying to live in the moment, but I know it's easier said than done. I lean on the more outgoing side and enjoy meeting all sorts of people. I recently finished living the Italian life as an au pair (I couldn't avoid the real-world for long) but I think it's only the beginning of my world travels.
PHILOSOPHY
I could insert so many cliche quotes here. I have a tattoo that says "Follow the way of love". It stands for agape love, meaning loving unconditionally, and I take it as love for mankind. I'm one of those hippies that thinks love makes the world go round, and all you have to do is spread your kindness.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couchsurfed in Venice and Rome with a fellow au pair in Italy. One experience was better than the other, but either way I've been grateful for my hosts' hospitality and for the unique experience couchsurfing brings.
Interests
Photography, drawing, playing guitar (although I never make progress), reading, dancing, laughing, sharing experiences, listening to stories, listening to music, traveling, and simply walking around.

Music, Movies, and Books
My daily music is alternative/acoustic/folk. By night, I like house music and rap/pop. I've enjoyed reading the modern and mainstream, like Twilight, Hunger Games, and Divergent, while also enjoying classics like Jane Austen's Emma and Pride and Prejudice. I enjoy basically all genres of movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think what I'm doing right now, au pairing, is something pretty amazing. But I've also skydived, which was awesome.
Teach, Learn, Share
I offer the American culture. My education has provided me with a lot of knowledge about art as well as statistics, but I enjoy learning about all fields. I'm also full of random tid-bits of information.
