I'm a high school teacher by trade but a traveler at heart. I'm taking this year to travel the world with my boyfriend and can't wait to meet new people and experience lots of places that I haven't seen and are totally new and unfamiliar.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be traveling for the year but when I'm back in Brooklyn, or wherever it is that I land, I'll be happy to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new to the Couchsurfers.org community but have couch surfed and offered my couch to plenty of people in my day. I've been living in a big communal house in Brooklyn for the past 6 years that constantly had an influx of visitors

Interests

Bicycling, backpacking, hiking, running, eating delicious food, languages, traveling to new places and returning to places that I love. Teaching and learning from others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Marched with penguins in Antarctica by chance because I got a last minute deal to hop onto a cruise ship with 100 backpackers. It was like summer camp and school at the same time.
