CURRENT MISSION

I started hosting in 2012 and had the pleasure of hosting some incredible people- some of which have since become best friends. I am kicking off a world trip in May 2015 and I am so excited to live out a life long dream. Looking for a couch, coffee, drinking buddy or anything else you can offer. In return I can teach you the Irish national anthem in Gaelic- that's a fair swap I think :)

I think I am an easy going person, love to meet new people and put the world to right over a few vodka and tonics :) Quite outgoing, easy to chat to. passion for travel.I like the freedom it allows as when I am at home I am very work focused which can make me a little serious. I am planning a big trip in a few months and would love to connect with other long term travellers.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe I was put here to have a positive effect on other people. Even if I can benefit one other persons life in the smallest way. I feel an incredible(overwhelming at times) gratitude for the hand I have been dealt in life and I believe one day I will quit the rat race and spend the rest of my days cuddling babies in an orphanage.

I have hosted several amazing people and now I am hoping to start surfing- an ex host makes the best surfer ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have had the most fantastic experiences. Every surfer I have had the pleasure of hosting has had an amazing effect on me and my outlook on life.

兴趣

I LOVE banter,love to hit the pub with a gang, have a few drinks and just have a great laugh. I LOVE food, total foodie. I have recently started running and I recently run a full 42km marathon- did I mention 42km.If I can do it ANYONE CAN DO IT! Best experience ever! I love to experience everything once even if it scares the shit out of me ! ( like doing the highest bungy in the world and forgetting I have a CHRONIC fear of heights, never recovered from it to be honest haha)
Most of all, I enjoy a good debate-religion, gender roles,aliens, politics, ryan gosling vs, david beckham ( ryan gosling everyday!!) I love to talk and understand why people believe the things they do.

Music-anything goes.At the moment Im all over Ed Sheeran. But I like lots of different types
Books- right now I do not have any time for books. But one day I plan to read one book on the history of each country I visit while I am there
Movies- I like funny ones like due date but again I am open to any suggestions.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

As mentioned I did a bungy jump (worst experience of my life).also did a skydive which was incidently the best experience of my life ( I dont get it either)
Pony trekking in Lesotho in this valley (terrible for remembering names of places) but it was the most amazing thing I have ever seen-on top of this flat mountain looking down over the countryside
Attending a wedding in Macedonia and experiencing the hospitality of the local was just humbling
Running a marathon
hmmmm so many moments :)

Hmmmm what can I teach......Well I have been known to randomly break into gaelic after one two many vodkas and I love a chance to pass on my heritage haha :)
I want to learn anything you want to teach.I like to know someones 'story'-why people are the way they are good and bad. I do love to talk, but I also love to listen, anything goes

I love cats and dogs so I am more than happy to walk the animals. I also love babies and kids and I can walk those for you aswell :)
