Hey everybody,

my name is Sarah and I live in Berlin. I love to meet people, learn about new cultures and how
everybody enjoys his or her life.

I like to cook and eat good food, love hanging out in the nature or spending
an evening in a bar oder a pub.
I started to play the piano and do photography in my free time. I like to keep my surroundings clean and I'm not complicated.
Most important for me are respect, kindness and honesty if we want to live together.

I live in Berlin since two years now. I would love to say my doors are also open for you, but as I live in a flatshare my flatmates have to be ok with a couchsurfer, too. So that's why I can probably only host a few of you...
Dont be mad if I have to decline, if I lived alone it wouldn't be like that. :)

Berlin is a pretty colorful city and there are sooo many nice and beautiful places. I was born in Heilbronn, a city near Stuttgart in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. I lived there in a small town close to the nature with my red-haired cat Johnny and my family. But someday I felt I want to leave and start a journey. As I read "The Alchimist" from Paulo Coelho at the moment, this describes my idea of travelling the best. It's really inspiring as same as "Siddharta" from Hermann Hesse.

I really care about nature. There are so many simple things you can do to care about the planet (using bamboo-toothbrushs, no coffee-to-go-cups and so on), but I also love to take care of my own soul and the soul of others (people and animals). I love the buddhistic philosophies and do often read books with deep meanings.

As I live in Berlin my political mind is spreading out. I'm tolerant with all kinds of lifestyles (no faschism, violence or other negative influences), a little bit of feminism/equalism, peace and love.
In the next year I will apply for communication designs at the university. This is a course of studies where I learn about film, design, photography, illustrating, branding and so on. You see, I am interested in Design and Art.

I like the idea of non-capitalistic lifestyles and being even more close to each other.
If I visit a city I don't know yet it's far more interesting if someone who lives there shows me
the beautiful places. I also love to learn about different lifestyles.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One time I have been to Indonesia. We were three friends on a bus to Java. The busdriver stopped in a city by night and told us to leave the bus, because we are at our destination. The only people who left the bus were us. When the bus drove away we realized the situation. There was no one around us, it was dark and we didn't know where we were. So we looked for the next police station. The station consisted of three police officers, a small hut , a table and two chairs. As we asked them for help they tried to make money. But all we wanted was to know where we are and to help us ordering a taxi so we could go to our hostel. We discussed with them but they didn't want to help unless we pay. As we didn't have such an amount of money my friends were nearly crying. But one of the officers looked at me in a different way. He didn't say anything the whole time. Then he talked to his colleagues... who later really helped us by driving us in police car to our hostel. I was so happy that there are people around the world who are kind and open and who really want to help.

I'm giving my best to also be a person, who helps and gives things to people.

I can cook and help cleaning the rooms. I can help to learn german or go out with the dogs. If you have kids I can go and spend time with them at the playground. I always have an open ear if it comes to life-struggle. I will do my best to help! I arrange a photoshoot or do designs for anything. But mostly I want to share happy moments and have a good time.
