Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm planning to travel a few months around Europe with my boyfriend and I take this as an occasion to visit something else than hostels as I think that staying with a "local" might be far more intriguing for discovering a region.

Interests

Although I might like to be quiet and alone sometimes to read or to listen to music, I also take a lot of pleasure in sharing activities with people, such as cooking, hiking, playing music or games, or put the world to rights while sharing a beer :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As my parents were young and brave adventurers, they built a boat in Switzerland and went around the world, and that's how I was born in New Caledonia. We lived there 7 years before coming back to Switzerland. I then spent again a few months in the island at the end of my studies.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Having studied geography, I'm really curious about how a region that I don't know yet is organised. Thus, every person that I meet from an unknown place offers the possibility to exchange about different lifestyles and habits. That's kind of the best way to travel, right? :-)
