About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To conquer 5 continents before I am 25!
ABOUT ME
The first time I left Aus was in 2007 to go on student exchange in Toronto. Was meant to be gone for 4 months but stayed 11 with no regrets! I would have stayed longer if I could have but couldnt leave my degree any longer. Since then I have finished my undergrad and have had a couple of short stints to SE Asia (one month each) in 2009 and 2011. Saving for a big trip to South America hopefully next year!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well I have known about couch surfing for quite a while and have hosted a few really great people. I have not couch surfed myself yet but would really like to next time I travel. I have been out of the CS loop for about a year since I moved to Melbourne, but keen to get back into meeting some more travellers and sharing crazy travel stories!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Fantastic! I have only had great people come and stay with me/meet me for drinks/city adventures. Everyone is super lovely. One group of CS bought me a present, and another even cooked dinner for my whole house- super nice seeing as there were 7 of us living there at the time!
Interests
I love to go out and have a drink (or two) with friends, chill out on the beach, play frisbee or something in a park. honestly, im a very laid back kind of person and just love to hang out with cool people that make me laugh

Music, Movies, and Books
i love movies that will make me laugh. i love books that are emotional, and i love all kinds of music. i will listen to music like a soundtrack of my life, depending on how i feel that day :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's hard to think of something on the spot, but I think that the Aztec buildings in Mexico were incredible. It is amazing to think that they had specific reasons for every placement, building etc. everything had a purpose which we dont see today
Teach, Learn, Share
I think the only thing I have learnt so far, is that if you live in a share house, you need to make sure that everyone you live with is as easy going about having CSers come and stay. Make sure they are happy to have a 'stranger' or two crashing on the couch. Where I am happy for people to stay as long as they need, I learnt the hard way that housemates are not always. We ended up setting some ground rules like max people and max length stay, but in the end I had to pack it in...Now I open the idea of CSing to all new housemates and try and get them involved with it too.
