About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To have some great cross-cultural experiences and make the world a little smaller
ABOUT ME
I'm always up for random experiences no matter where I am.
PHILOSOPHY
Random acts of kindness can go a long way...and everyone is connected somehow.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love to meet new people and making connections all over the world. I also enjoy being able to share the beautiful Oman with people since it can be a tough place to navigate blindly at times. I have been here a few years and I am still having 'firsts!'
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
One of my favorites was staying with a UK couple in Dubai after they surfed with me in Oman. It was one of those rare occasions to be able to share hospitality both ways!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Rode a donkey with a lesbian in Greece, met a famous Vietnam Veteran that looked like Santa Claus, dined with him, a famous painter, the Chief of Police of the Greek Island I was on, a famous German Economist...
Had Cancer at age 23 and am still positive that there are good things about life.
Saw dozens of shooting stars over a beach as I watched a mother turtle bury her eggs and go back to sea, and on the way saw a hatched baby turtle scurrying to the shore!(In Oman, you could see this if you visit!)
I climbed the Half Dome in Yosemite Park completely unprepared and out of shape. Thought I would die, quite seriously, and it's a miracle I didn't. Would love to go back and try it again, after working out first!
I believe in small adventures and micro-ambitions, life is much more interesting that way.
Teach, Learn, Share
After hosting a lot of people, I have learned qualities that are very admirable when I am a guest, and I have also seen qualities in surfers that I will make sure to avoid when I'm a guest. Be kind and consider your host when staying somewhere, pick up after yourself, ladies: pull your long hair out of the drain after staying a week...
I enjoy meeting people that have great stories to share. I have been lucky to have many couchsurfers with amazing stories that I still think of every now and again.
