ABOUT ME

I work on a sailboat teaching students how to navigate and sail the boat while they learn about the ecology and history of the Chesapeake Bay. I also try to take time between sailing trips to have my own adventures.

PHILOSOPHY

I thrive outdoors. I should always be learning and teaching. I work to be humble, compassionate, and strong.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I often travel due to my job. Whether through the couch surfing site or by word of mouth, I am often able to stay with awesome people for a night or two in new places. I look forward to hosting folks at my place when I am home as well!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have slept on the porches of three different hosts and had an amazing rest, listening to the wind and the animals and waking up to sun shining across the deck.

Interessen

I love being outside, (most) any weather makes me happy. I love to explore new towns, cities, states. I am always up for a long bicycle ride. I am a quiet person but love to meet new people. I like to hear about other people's adventures and dreams and would love to meet over a cup of coffee or glass of beer to swap stories.

If I could only take one album with me on a trip, it would be the Eagles Greatest Hits. I would probably be annoyed with my choice by the second day =)

I want to learn more about travel biking, baking bread, your town...
I can teach you the names of a few constellations, some 4th grade science topics, how to sail, how to tie cool knots...
