Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CURRENT MISSION
My bestfriend Moe Dog is in the vet hospital here at the university. She is having surgery on her spine and then chemo. I have spent all my money on her treatment and have no money for a hotel after tomorrow and she is expected to need to stay until next Friday. (She is checked into the hospital and will not need to be in your home at any point.) We live in Olympia and I took her here because the university has a type of radiation only offered here out of the entire PNW. Any place to crash would be wonderful and I would help out in any way possible. My main goal is to remain in the area so that I can visit her everyday and be there for her through this. I haven't couchsurfed much, this is an emergency situation for me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm clean and respectful. I enjoy hanging out with new folks or I can just as easily do my own thing. I always have my trusty companion, Moe Dog, along for the ride. She's an old dog, a good dog.

Interests

Laughing, listening to people's stories, the details, music, nature, yoga, hang gliding, animals, good foods, movies, anything new.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visited the Rocky Mountains, Big Sur, Crater Lake, Umpqua Hot Springs, Jerome and Sedona, Nashville, Memphis, New Orleans, Savannah, Austin and many more beautiful places (most if the states) while I travelled around the US in my RV for 3 yrs. I can tell you where to get good food/things you can't miss if you're planning a trip to most places in the US.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can explain silversmithing, soldering with fine silver, enameling, electroforming, working with sheet metal.

I'm interested in learning most anything.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can clean, do whatever chores you would like. I have a car and can run errands.
