I'm a Californian girl at heart who's been living on the east coast for four years. I really enjoy hosting and getting to share DC with all of the surfers I've met.

I've surfed a couple of times and now I'm happily hosting surfers in DC.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only a few CS experiences from my most recent trip this spring to Nice and Florence and I am so grateful to my hosts. I joined in 2009 while I was studying in France, but never tried it out. After seeing my sister and my parents surf and host, I've been excited about becoming a more active member of the CS community. Hosting so far has been great - it's been fun experiencing DC through the eyes of my guests and getting to know a lot of very nice, interesting people.

Interests

reading, hiking, rooftop brunches, yoga, and learning new recipes. And I love a good card game.

Music, Movies, and Books

When I have a good book, I devour it and it takes over all of my spare time. My favorite author is Ken Follett and I have read all of his books at least once. Recently I've been trying to read French classics as both a practice and a rewarding challenge. I would love some recommendations!
