About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Talk. Listen. See, Live. Write a story!

ABOUT ME

I am always busy doing something. Just chilling does not work, and if I need a good book. I love Ice Cream and being in company. Having people around me is what makes me happy and then I can chill. I like to talk, bubble but then I love to hear stories as well.I always want to do and learn new things. At least every two years I need to have a big trip, discovering a new country, meet new people. It is already clear I will be the funky Art teacher.

PHILOSOPHY

Try everything, regret nothing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started surfing in 2012 and spend a wonderfull week in Cape Town meeting Couchsurfers.

Interests

I always need a project, something to do next to working and studying: can be artsy in any ways drawing, performance,singing,acting...I like it all and always something else catches my interest.
Although I am definately a city girl I like nature, the beauty of it always calms me down. Could be sitting at the beach watching the waves for ours. I like to volunteer, usually work with disadvantaged people. I see it as a way to give back and to notice things in society.

Music, Movies, and Books

Once, Garden State, Amelie...artsy films with awesome soundtracks.
Beirut, Bon Iver, Hundreds, Eddie Vedder...
Momo. Fairy tales.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Being in South Africa, surprises you. Seeing elephants two metres away might be something people do in south africa. But for me it is amazing.
2. In an art gallery: The guard was sitting next to a leak in the ceiling, popping the bubbles of wrapping. Poetic. I like those kind of moments. Moments you can write a poem about.
3. Snorkeling in the Carribbean Ocean, on the coast of Columbia.
