About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am hoping to travel the UK and Ireland with my sister this summer. We figured the absolute best way to do this was to actually meet and get to know as many locals as possible. So here we are!
ABOUT ME
I'm an illustrator and art teacher in Connecticut. I studied art and art history in undergrad, and spent a semester abroad in Florence. After graduation, I moved to New York City, where I lived (Brooklyn) and worked (in an art gallery) for almost three years. After I got sick of New York, I up and moved to Chicago, where I got a job teaching art to K-5th graders.
I finish my teaching program this May. In June I'd like to meet my little sister (whose living in Spain right now) in London and travel through England, Ireland and maybe Scotland. Neither of us have been to any of these places, so we figured it would be a great idea to use couchsurfing as a way to meet locals and get to know the area better (and, of course, have fun).
PHILOSOPHY
Be nice.

Music, Movies, and Books
Unfortunately, I've found I have the movie tastes of a 13-year-old girl.
Also, I did read the hunger games, so maybe I have the literary tastes of a 13-year-old girl, as well....
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cliff jumping in Tennessee.
Drinking wine of the steps of churches in Florence.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to teach little kiddos.
I can teach you how to draw and paint and make a collage.
I also make puppets. I can bring some and we can have a puppet show.
I promise I will listen and learn from you, whatever your skills, talents, and interests.
