CURRENT MISSION

We will be leaving in early December and heading to Honolulu. We hope to spend sometime there learning about the area and hopefully getting some useful insight from a few awesome locals!

After that we will be heading over to the big island to do some wwoofing (World Wide Oppertunities On Organic Farms)

ABOUT US

Alex and I are young and only slightly crazy adventurers preparing for our trip to Hawaii. We are both really easy going and down to earth people who are ready to get out of our current bubble, get smart and see whats out there. I am from Portland, Oregon and Alex is from Fairbanks, Alaska. Most resently we were doing seasonal work at the remote and rugged Chena Hot Spring Resort near Alex's hometown (check out the pictures!)

This is an amasing website! Being able to connect with local people in this way is a sweet game changer for people like us who want to travel more then anything but are not rich and are too young to have any real skills of trade...

We want to become better people through new life experiance and learn so that we will have something more to offer. Being able to meld minds with people that know things we don't know about the area we are in and any other wisdom you want to share is going to make our adventure more then just couchsurfing!

I could teach you to play chess and maybe a few card games, I know a fair bit about computers. I can't claim to know anything thats factual about the nature of humanity and such but I love to talk philosophy.

Alex could teach you to play basketball, how to use a forklift, how to hunt, and he could tell you about what it is like to live in a native village in Alaska!

We both are eager to learn would be interested in pretty much any subject, I really like hearing people's stories
