ABOUT ME

Im a florida girl so i love the ocean, and all forms of water. id rather be hot than cold. after graduation spring 2007 i moved home for a while, then decided to join the Peace Corps. They sent me to Guinea, West Africa. I lived in a hut in a tiny village 15 hours by bush taxi from the capital. my sector was agroforestry, so i did a lot of environmental ed and started some reforestation groups. i also taught english and basic sanitation. plus aids and malaria stuff. we got evacuated to mali after the military had a big massacre of civilians. i went home for four months, then came to jordan, where im working for a tourist camp in Wadi Rum. it is fun, but i just get room and board. so, i spend most of my free time job searching.

about my personality? i believe in karma so i try not to do things i wouldnt want people to do to me. im pretty agnostic though i was raised episcopalian. i love to travel, obviously, and i love to go out and have fun. im used to roughing it (ive spent over two years in a hut with no electricity or running water, and im living in a tent now) but i also love to get all done up when going out. im shy until i feel comfortable then i talk a lot. if im talking a lot right off the bat then someone is there who puts me at ease. i hate flying. it terrifies me.i love good food and good drinks. i really love water, in all it's forms. i love dairy products though i became lactose intolerant in africa. i love to laugh and listen/dance to music. im a pretty passionate person.
