I teach French language and Francophone cultures in schools and universities - I am also learning to teach English, Spanish and Latin.

ABOUT ME

I am open-minded, and never refuse to try something new. I am currently living in the United States, after having studied in France, Iceland, Cambodia and Spain - I would like to be able to understand different ways of life from different places and different people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to discover places, meet people and learn things thanks to direct encounters.

Interests

I enjoy to discover different cultures and languages, and I really like to talk about languages, arts, literature, cinema, and so on ! I also love travels, and I am often reading, painting and listening to music. I like to spend time in the kitchen too, both to share the recipes I know and to discover new ones!
I also love cultures of the past, being a former student of Classics (studying Egyptian, Greek and Latin).
I have worked with children and adults in different structures, which I found really interesting. I taught French as a Foreign Language, painting and Latin, and I discovered that I really like to teach!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like modern movies, from Europe and Asia mainly. I listen to Asian and European music, and a bit of American music ; I like music in diverse languages from everywhere around the world. I read to travel both in time, space, and identity, I have a preference for Asian literature, Medieval novels and poetry, mythological texts, but I am discovering contemporary writers too. I am currently starting a study program in Romance cultures and literatures, so that is my focus now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to study in Cambodia for a summer semester, which was one of my dreams!
