About Me
CURRENT MISSION
We want to experience the world and all it has to offer, and in the process learn invaluable lessons from the people who inhabit it!
ABOUT ME
We're an intrepid young couple with a passion for many things. We love the arts, silly movies, fun little walks and hanging out with our puppy. Most of all, perhaps the most important thing that can be said about us is just how much we love the notion of traveling. There's something magical about the thought of seeing the world, seeing beauty in everything. We love the thought of making great friends, sharing the journey of life with everyone we can. Namaste, and good tidings!
PHILOSOPHY
William is a confirmed Mahayan Buddhist trying his hardest to walk on the eight fold path. The old proverb, "All is impermanent," applies to so much in life. So, it's with great importance to see everything one can before it's too late to appreciate it.
Sarah is a fan of taking life as it comes, and appreciating everything that it entails. Some things in life can be pretty hard, but the good comes right after the bad. Everything can be fixed with a good cuddle, a warm glass of apple cider, and maybe a nice story.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
William and I are brand new to CS. We want to learn more about how all of this works and begin surfing. We can't host currently because our house is already filled beyond capacity, but as soon as things change, we will be glad to welcome surfers!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We are virgin surfers.
Interests
We both LOVE cooking and eating, art and music. We are young and of course still learning about life (hopefully always will be!). We love to be silly, laugh, and have fun. We like to try new recipes and new music and take our dog to the park. We are extremely laid back and accepting of other points of view. We love children and animals and hope to have lots of both in our lives always. William is a dedicated writer (check out his newest novel, What Wolves May Come, if you like being creeped out...) and passionate musician. He also loves nerdy things like technology and gaming. I love color and animals and people. I am goo goo for animals and babies, and have ridden horses since I was 3 years old. I have a bad habit of helping others almost to my own detriment. I like for people to feel wanted and comfortable and relaxed around me. I also am constantly in my head envisioning how to make my surroundings more beautiful, comfortable, and loved. I love meeting new people and learning from their shared experiences. Different perspectives invigorate me and make me passionate about life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
William: The most amazing thing I've ever done was to take up the nerve to pursue my beloved. The most amazing ever thing I've seen was the desert near Nevada, just this great expanse as big as the ocean to the naked eye. So, between intense isolation and the love of my life. Not a bad haul all things considered.
Sarah: I can't pinpoint these things in my life- there are so many moments that are amazing- reaching the top of a mountain in Colorado, watching the sun rise at the edge of a lake while camping with the man I love, a movie perfect kiss in the rain, seeing a baby laugh and smile, eating perfectly ripe watermelon or a morsel of chocolate perfection, finding a perfect little flower unexpectedly or encountering a rainbow, dancing on the beach at night- to me it's all amazing, how could I possibly choose?
Teach, Learn, Share
William can share his love of music and literature, he has taught himself how to play guitar (quite well)and is glad to share.
I am a novice knitter and crocheter, and love crafts and art-perhaps we can learn from each other. I'm also pretty great with kids and animals, and I have an eye for color.
