ABOUT ME

I am a Canadian university student currently on academic exchange in Lyon, France. I like making art, exploring nature and culture, skiing, and learning languages. I am currently studying economics and would like to also study cognitive science and go to art school in the future.

Interests

I enjoy learning and creating. I like to sculpt (mostly in wire), sew, or take photos in my spare time - I find my life works best when I have a balance between using my brain and using my body, which for me means finding the right combination of exercise, intellectual, and creative pursuits.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived on a Cree First Nations reserve in northern Quebec, Canada for two months when I was 18. Living inside of aboriginal culture was something different from anything I had ever experienced before, and taught me an entirely different perspective on life and spirituality.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am happy to share about my experiences, travels, and skills. I love to talk and learn about art, cultures I have experienced (especially Canadian aboriginal culture), and practice and learn languages. In terms of practical skills, I have my first dan black belt in Taekwondo and like to share my experience of being a martial artist. I also love to cook and share recipes for cultural foods.
