ABOUT ME

My name is Sarah Band and I am an sculptor living in the Bay Area. I recently graduated from San Francisco State University with a BA in Art, and am currently living back home with my folks. I plan to move out soon... but not without some necessary traveling first! I am looking to explore the world and myself while meeting amazing people that I hope to influence my life. I enjoy people, food, art, going out, cultures, and all around fully experiencing life.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a very free spirit. I am an artist, with multi-colored hair, that has grown up in the Bay Area, CA, United States. I think most would call me pretty liberal. I enjoy a nice relaxing pace of life with occasional nights of fun.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am looking forward to seeing the world! Unfortunately right now I have no couch for people to stay, but once I have my own place I shall return the favor. Before then however I am looking for amazing people who wouldn't mind me crashing on their couch and showing me around their marvelous city.

Interests

I enjoy creating. I am a glass blower, sculptor, welder, interactive electronic artist... anything I can get my hands on! I also enjoy meeting new people, new cultures, amazing food, music, dancing, and just enjoying life. I feel that people and friends are truely what define a person, and I am excited to meet some new people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've experienced is attending a glass blowing camp with people attending from around the world, and just making art with them. You learn so much from others creativity

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning anything new. I find most career fields very exciting especailly thoose including science or technology. If any one wants to know anything about building, glass blowing, or sculpture I am your girl. I have also been getting into interactive electronic art, so I love conversing about new technology.
