I live in Messina on the wonderful Isle of Sicily, with my boyfriend Sam and a pack of stray dogs. I teach English and go climbing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted some lovely folks here in Sicily and have surfed a coupla times with my boyfriend in Torino, Perugia and Syracusa. All very positive!

Interests

Climbing, reading, film and photography, the mighty Tottenham Hotspurs, wondering around beautiful places, knitting, juggling, history, heated discussions on real-life crime, warm feet.

Music, Movies, and Books

Musicals, geographical disaster movies and Rocky. I like reggae in the sunshine and 80's power ballads in the shower. I like books that are epic - Salman Rushdie, David Guterson, Haruki Murakami.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw one of the last wild Bengal tigers in India frolicking amidst the mangroves in the Sunderbans. It was very special.

I'm an English teacher so I can help with your grammar, and I can give you a crash course on the complete works of Stephen King. My boyfriend is a photographer and an ace juggler and he makes a mean Victoria sponge.
