Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
surviving grad school. no, thriving in grad school.
ABOUT ME
I don't really know how to describe myself, but my friends call me quirky, artsy, and a dork. I love to travel and experience new cultures, and my interests range from biological sciences to continental philosophy and fine arts. I'm a loyal friend and I value relationships, but I'm still independent and live a nomad's life. Oh, and I'm not a big fan of writing a massive profile page, so please don't judge this book just by the cover!
PHILOSOPHY
Home is a spiritual and philosophical dimension that surpasses the physical boundaries.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm a newbie! I'm planning to host/surf.
So far, I've hosted one couchsurfer from Germany who will be starting his Ph.D in Edmonton.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have only recently heard about this website through a friend and I am excited to be a part of this community of gypsy-like souls.

Music, Movies, and Books
Doesn't matter whether it's mainstream or underground indie, whatever tugs at my heart, I will watch and listen to.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have witnessed a live birth in a rural village in Bangladesh and made a short documentary about my experience as a CIDA intern there. I have bumped into a Malayali film star in Kerala and have written research papers in the Bodleian Library.
Teach, Learn, Share
I fell in love with Bangladeshi egg curry when I was an intern in Dhaka 2 years ago. I am still trying to perfect my own recipe for this, but anyone who loves ethnic food might be interested in this.
