About Me
We love bikes, board games, books, repurposing trash, urban agriculture and home-cooked goodness. These are all activities best shared with new friends. We feel alive when we're traveling and being adventurous, but we are both homebodies at the core.
We are heavily involved in community organization. We thrive on learning new skills and passing on what we know.
We love to cook and are excellent vegan GF cooks, so don't be shy about diet restrictions. You won't be stuck eating boiled potato and lettuce. We'll treat you right! We appreciate guests to bring wine/beer/cheese to complete the meal. We are both skilled in the kitchen and knowledgeable about nutrition and healthy cooking for active living.
May to September is a very busy time for hosting. Some weeks we will host over a dozen people. In order to balance all of our guests and our busy lives, we kindly ask that you be as specific as you can about your arrival dates. Our home has that groovy hostel feel in the summer months. Early evening arrivals are strongly preferred. We dine at 7:30pm.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Eloped in Newfoundland in mid-winter.
We run a community bike recycling project out of our house.
Teach, Learn, Share
We'll totally skillshare bike mechanics and maintenance. We set an example of a "waste not, want not" lifestyle and finding treasures in the trash.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Either a social experience, or just a cozy place to crash. No pressure or expectations besides respectfulness.
Antigonish's gems:
Our public library was voted Best Public Space in Canada 2014. Be sure to check it out! It has native fish, public veggie, a 3D printer, a MakerSpace, local & national art exhibits, and oh so much more!
Craft beer lovers, don't miss out!
