About Me

I just started settling into Seattle after a year of traveling and exploring the world with my husband. I am currently teaching with Play Well, I get to run after school enrichment classes where I teach kids about engineering with Legos!

Before traveling I was a teacher in Memphis TN. I starting teaching as part of Teach for America. I joined Teach for America after graduating from University of Idaho.

Other that that technical stuff, I believe that travel and meeting new people expands and open your mind. I love pineapples and my favorite color is purple. I am outgoing and a dedicated worker. I put all of myself into everything that I do. I try to live simply, use less, and love more.

I am married to a super awesome guy, Nate, his profile is here https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/safetydan

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is amazing. I started as a Host and have surfed all over the world. I enjoy interacting with other travelers and Hosts. At this point, I don't consider myself to have been somewhere unless I have couchsurfered there. I have made so many wonderful fiends and experienced so many amazing things.
( I know have no references here, during travel we used my husbands account. Look at his account to see referances about us

Interests

I am interested in many things, in fact there isn't much that doesn't interest me. I am currently really in to hiking, cooking, meditating, and looking at ways to reduce my footprint.

I love beer, I love food, and I love getting to try new beers and new foods. I am (of course) a traveler at my core and am always trying to find and explore new places and things.

Oh I also really love board games and play lots of them.
