Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We would like to give back a bit, our daugher Megan having couch surfed during her time in Australia a few years ago. We are pretty busy people so may not be able to host at certain times of the year as we travel ourselves - house swapping, work long hours and Sarah sometimes away from home for periods for work. But we would love to meet new people from different countries and cultures and provide a safe, clean and cost effective environment for people to see the world!

I also think that as the UK is an expensive place to visit any money should be spent on places travellers want to visit rather than expensive accommodation.

We prefer a bit of notice that you are coming and prefer to host during the week but try us anyway. We can offer a couch and single mattress in the lounge and sometimes a double bed/bedroom to yourself or to share.
