About Me
ABOUT ME
Adventuresome, health conscious, life-long learner, interested in everything. Yearning to see the stars at night. I also do some consulting - program design, strategic planning... In my spare time I lead contemplative forest walks.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
With my son in college and my elderly parents settled in a great new place, I am flapping my wings... wwoofing a bit, visiting friends and family, road tripping. Years ago I was part of Servas and really enjoyed meeting people that way. There are a few spaces in the road tripping without friends, family or farming, so why not couchsurf?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the fall of 1977, a friend and I hiked up Masada on a Friday night (when it was closed, no one else was there and no security back then) stashed our gear in King Herod's Western Palace, and camped out under more stars than I imagine I will ever see again.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: worm composting, how to drive a stick shift, fermentation, English as another language, stress management...
Learn: Seriously, I am interested in learning about anything that interests the people I am hanging with.
Share: I may have some kefir grain to share
