ABOUT ME

Until recently, I went to law school, studied a lot, tutored students, edited someone else's book, and worked as an executive editor on an academic journal. Now I am waiting on bar results, rediscovering the joy of free time, traveling, reviving old hobbies, and discovering new ones.

PHILOSOPHY

I come from a small close-knit family. I have "blue collar" values. I work hard for what I want. I don't expect everything to come easily or all at once. I do my best to live a healthy balanced life. I hope to leave he world a better place than I found it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I am between places, so unfortunately I can not host. As soon as I get settled I would like to host surfers. I am mainly looking to surf , and meet new people!

Interests

I love being active outside hiking, canoeing, biking, rock climbing, skiing, and camping. I have gotten back into photography lately, and I hope to learn how to play the guitar in the near future. I adore pets, and hope to get a dog soon, once I get my life more settled. Other interests include: cooking, gardening, canning, parsing local farmers markets, tea, coffee, reading, and NPR.
