ABOUT ME
I'm a musician living with my boyfriend Jon in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I spend my time speeding around on my rusty bike, drinking tea to excess, and trying to have travel adventures whenever I can!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Jon and I live in a tiny but lovely apartment in the east of the city- we were hosts to many a long lost friend and acquaintance before discovering Couch Surfing officially.
Now we couchsurf both together (whilst on holiday and hiking/biking around) and separately, whilst travelling for concerts and work-related things. It's always nice to meet friendly faces along the way!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed through England with my boyfriend this summer, whilst biking our way from Utrecht, NL, to Edinburgh. We met lots of lovely people, and were treated to guided tours of Oxford, cycle trips in the Peak District, a hammock and a treehouse in the Eskdalemuir forests, and many a barbeque!
I've also couchsurfed around Exeter, Huddersfield and Belfast whilst performing at different classical music festivals. It makes it all the more interesting! On my couchsurfing adventures I encountered some talented adversaries in Boggle-playing, ate the best enchilladas ever, and even went on to collaborate on working on a blog with one friendly host!
Interests
Classical music. Jazz. Good movies. Food (and lots of it). Wine with friends. Cycling. Dancing. Reading. Accidentally booking a flight after too much G&T and ending up in Estonia. Oh well!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Biking through the Scottish border forests, speeding up and down the giant hills (well, not speeding 'up'..) and seeing entire counties appear from behind each new mountain.
