Originally from Belgium, I've started travelling at the end of my tourism degree. I've always loved practicing sports so it became second nature to include adventures in my travels. I've spent years travelling and working in different parts of the world, enjoying the moments and local culture as much as I could. I love having a conversation with locals even when we don't speak the same language :) I love outdoors and mostly water, started swimming at the age of 6, I'm now swimming and doing water activities in the Adriatic sea in Abruzzo, Italy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love travelling and meeting locals. I find couchsurfing a perfect way to make connections and meet people, especially because I usually travel on my own. Whenever I can I like to return the favor and give people tips about my area.

Interests

I love swimming and outdoors. I'm very lucky to live in a outdoor lovers' paradise. In Abruzzo, we have the sea and the mountains and the climate is usually perfect to spend the day outside.

Music, Movies, and Books

My musical taste is very eclectic, I like a lot of different kind of music except maybe the commercial type you hear on the radio (which I never listen to except for news). These days I listen to audiobooks as I tend to fall asleep when I read (it takes me months to read a book). I watch series more than movies since I find there is a huge choice of extremely good series these days.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If there was only one... maybe my whitewater rafting and kayaking days in Central and South America. The Inca trail and Macchu Picchu was pretty awesome ! The red centre in Australia and traveling for days in the desert. Driving through Scotland, soooo beautiful !
