ABOUT ME

Hello, hello hello!

I am a full time student at the University of Bath studying a degree in Sport (Health & Fitness). I am due to begin my second year and have loved experiencing life at Uni as a 26 year old mature student :) Loz is my boyfriend and he is 32 years old. Having attended University many moons ago he now works full time as a broadcast hire technician. We are both pretty mellow individuals who don't take life too seriously. We enjoy meeting new people and learning about different cultures.

I try to set a good example to others by leading a fit and healthy lifestyle, however, being partial to cherry bake wells, copious amounts of chocolate (of any description), pizza and generally anything tasty that's not of any physiological benefit to homeostasis, I fail miserably ;) We love to eat curry and I have recently started to make curry at home from scratch. Its new to me, but the curry's are getting tastier and tastier with practice. We both like to chill out in the evenings by listening to music and having some drinks. We enjoy many different kinds of music so depending on the mood we can mellow out to classical or bang our heads to metal :)

My passion is travel for sure, from experiencing new places, different cultures, meeting new people, eating local foods and travelling with no real agenda. It's all so exciting and its what really makes me tick. We both plan to leave town with our sticks and red spotted hankies after I have finished Uni. Until then, we are more than happy to help other couch surfers travel their way around by offering our home to all.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Having only just joined this growing community we have yet to fully understand or appreciate how it all works. But rest assured, we are eager and can not wait to get started :) We are very relaxed hosts and like people to treat our home as if it was their own. Our mission as hosts is to make you feel as welcome and as comfortable as possible. All friends welcome here!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have hosted for three people now and we already feel we are getting into the swing of it! We hope to continue hosting and meet so many different people from all over the world :)

Interests

We love to be active and enjoy the challenge of new sports. I have played many sports but am currently focusing on snow boarding. I am a self confessed geek and love to read about travel, history, biology and psychology. Loz is a very creative person who is most passionate about film and music. He loves all things metal and has played the drums for many years. I am more of a rock fiend but metal is cool too :) We also enjoy classical / blues and soul.....depending on the mood....and if its Friday night :D

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read books, especially travel guides. I get lost in a dreamworld and start planning adventures for our future travels in 2 years time. My boyfriend and me love to watch movies, especially horror, we love the dark side...waaahhaaaa!!! Although we are partial to comedies and fantasy.
