Overview
About Me
I've been a student (and sometimes a teacher) for a lot of years, and I've spent a lot of my summer breaks traveling. During one of the summer breaks I couldn't spend traveling, I worked in a hostel in my hometown of Los Angeles just so I could hang out with travelers all day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The best part of traveling is meeting locals and trying to see the place through their eyes. I couchsurfed twice in Geneva, Switzerland. Both experiences were awesome and I'd love to couchsurf and hang out with couchsurfers again!
Interests
I love cooking (but I'm a vegetarian so only vegetarian food!). I also like learning languages, doing yoga, pretending I can dance, taking pictures, and finding wherever I was trying to go after getting totally and helplessly lost.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Some little kids in a small Ugandan village taught me how to dance.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have worked as a professional English as a Second Language teacher, and I love learning other languages.
I love cooking, and I'm especially interested in learning how to make new dishes.
So let's make some language and food exchange happen!
