ABOUT ME

I'm currently in my third year at university, studying English. I spent my gap year after high school working as a volunteer English teacher in Jiangxi, China, which is probably where I caught the travel bug. I had some of the most amazing experiences there and I'm hoping to be able to add to them, despite being constantly skint :)

PHILOSOPHY

I don't really know to be honest, I think I'm still working it out.

兴趣

I love all kinds of dancing, particularly ballet and contemporary. I read constantly and listen to a lot of music. I also love acting and the theatre in general. Obviously I love travelling and meeting new people, I think it's one of the best things a person can do.

I love music, particularly folk, blues and acoustic sets. My favourite books tend to be classics, old-school chick-lit like Jane Austen are always a hit. Vanity Fair is another of my favourites, but then so is Dracula and Madame Bovary, so a bit of a mix. Movies... well, I like lord of the rings and harry potter, because who doesn't want magic powers really?

Ehm... things i could share? Oh dear, that's difficult. I love to dance? If anyone wanted to learn a little ballet or contemporary I could try my best to help? I could answer some questions on Chinese culture and teach some very very VERY basic mandarin? Oh, and also English. English i can definitely do.
