About Me

Hey, I am travelling with my husband Marco the world. We have been to Sri Lanka, Maledives, Vietnam, Thailand, England, Singapore, Italy and Spain within the past 2 years and now exploring Australia.
We are outgoing, easy handling and definately reliable people who love to meet new people as well! One thing we have learned over the past years: Life is about WHO you meet not what you've done. I believe most things are meant to be, maybe you feel like that as well?

Photography and cooking/ baking are my passions. I simply love it. Because of my desire to experiment in the kitchen, I do work out regularly and I do love hiking actually.
I have been a passionate photographer since 2006 but never got the chance to share my pictures and places I have been to. That's one of the main reasons why I set up a blog, which reveals all magic places and motives we have come across during out travels. I hope to build a decent foundation for my blog over time.

Marco's passion is working out. He loooves our TRX (suspension trainer) and is always looking for new exercises. Just like me, he has a great interest in cooking.

What else...we are VERY clean, respect and appeciate other's homes as if it was our own. Couchsurfing is such a great opportunity
and I think everyone should be aware of that chance we get. Being grateful and giving back something, we consider as very important. Thus, whatever we can help at your place, let us know.

We are not looking for drinking all night long or partying stays, but people who like to meet other people and are down to earth as well. Hearing inspiring stories and making new friends is one of the major upsides of CS.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We enjoy meeting people around the world and enjoy making new friends, having the chance too dive in other lifestyles. First I was kind of afraid to just stay at foreigners homes, but then I experienced such great times abroad, had some friends from the States staying in Berlin with me...I loved it.
I stayed in the US for almmost a year and that was what changed everyting. We spend two months in Kingaroy with an amazing family of 6 and it taught us again: so many things are meant to be.

Now we are travelling and I don't know yet when to get back to Germany, but as soon as we will we want to have people staying with us again.

Music, Movies, and Books

...I just can't make up my mind..it's just too many!
There's harldy anything I don't like ;-)
Most important though is, that the book makes you think and/or inspires. I loved
the happiness project", "educating alice", "Ueberzeuge andere" and lots more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I flew a lightweight airplane and hopefully will dare a skydive soon!
I did my OWD license even though I suffer from asthma and enjoy diving so much.

Teach, Learn, Share

Whoever is looking to improve their German, we can help out! I also share some really nice dishes and recipes with you, if you like! My roast and red wine sauce happend to become the favorite dish of australian friends of ours, haha.
Furthermore, I can offer taking some pictures of you, your kids, pets or whatever - if you're interested.
Marco could show you some TRX exercises, if you're interested?
