About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy life as much as possible. Draw nice pictures, meet new people.

ABOUT ME

I am a primary school teacher by day, easy going and happy! I love drawing and making things, playing, doodling and day dreaming. Having lived in London nearly all my life I'm definitely more accustomed to a fast pace of life, but having said that nothing beats being lazy. Oh and I'm a definite cat lady (I share my home with a tabby called Audrey, who keeps me entertained).

PHILOSOPHY

I definitely believe in good manners and treating people how you'd like to be treated yourself. Find what makes you happy and do it as much as you can. Anything is possible, you just have to go and do it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far just surfing, but would be happy to host some like minded people in London (as long as you don't mind an angry cat!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At the moment my colleague and I are travelling around canada and the US on our summer holidays. We've stayed with a few people and had some fantastic hospitable hosts.

Interests

I like swimming, reading, knitting and cooking. I love visiting art galleries, going to the cinema, sitting in parks and reading, having picnics, watching football (I live down the road from arsenal) and going to the pub for a pint!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music wise: Belle and Sebastian, the smiths, hozier...it's very mood dependant!
Books: crime and punishment, the wasp factory, wuthering heights. I've just finished Jamaica Inn which was fantastic.
Films: mesrine, la haine, Paris Texas, the royal tennenbaums

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went travelling around South America- swam with pink dolphins in the amazon, got caught in a bee swarm-that was pretty exciting (and painful)!

Teach, Learn, Share

Sharing: I used to teach people how to knit and crochet, I can draw, make clothes and print make
Learning: I'd love to learn another language, build on my very poor Spanish and French. I'm a terrible sports person, so a any help there would be greatly received!
