ABOUT ME

Probably "Oh God not that stalking weirdo again!" Well, hopefully not...I tend only to stalk strangers, not my best friends. I like a laugh - you've got to laugh loads at least once every day, even if it's just at yourself. Love music (both making and listening to), love kids, love salsa dancing, love witty banter, Marmite & drinking too much red wine. Love Tim Minchin and Sean Lock. Enjoy speaking in foreign tongues and learning about other people. Hate Crocs, lamb and pork, hate being cold & wet, and have a strong aversion to other people's toenails. To look at I mean, not to eat.

Interests

Music, comedy, salsa dancing, laughter and playing with my very little nieces and nephew, who make me feel (and act) four again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't recall it in detail, but I believe being born was a pretty damn surreal, scary experience, if a little slippery. I am often awestruck by creativity and talent, especially musical prowess like an amazingly complex funky bass line or piano solo, or agility such as gravity-defying, hitherto physically impossible dance moves. I was once awestruck by the size of a man's bouffant. Angkor Wat shivered my timbers and I was once in awe of a friend of mine who had met Johnny Morris. Being a very shallow person I am frequently struck by beauty in other people, though being also a somewhat short person I am thankfully infrequently struck by low hanging branches or ceilings.
