My Name is Sarah. I was born and raised in Bochum, Germany. After I finished my school and apprenticeship, I came over to the United States to work as an Au Pair. Now I live in Washington, DC.

I love to travel, meet new people and collect as many new impressions as I can.

I am on Couchsurfing because I just think it is amazing!
I signed up after I tried it with a friend of mine. We had a wonderful road trip: Jacksonville - Orlando - Atlanta - Charleston - Savannah.
In Jacksonville and Atlanta we did couch surfing and I was just impressed how everything worked out and super happy to meet the local people there.

Like I said, I love to check out new places. So whenever there is a chance to try something new - a journey, a weekend trip, or let it even be a new restaurant that just opened up in my own city - I'm in!

Else I like to go out, shopping, work out, hanging with friends, go out for dinner, cooking.. :-)

I would say its definitely the experience living as an Au Pair in the USA.

I came to DC in February 2015. It was hard to leave my family and friends behind, I don't regret it at all though. I already met so many amazing people and experienced so many good things that I just feel blessed and happy being here.
