About Me

CURRENT MISSION

live the dream of a traveling teacher...

ABOUT ME

a friend said if I were an animal I'd be a fish. A happy, bright, exotic little fish swimming. I thought that was great.

PHILOSOPHY

"The more I learn, the more I learn how little I know" Socrates (I think...?)
Be the change you want to see in the world" Ghandi

Music, Movies, and Books

Dostoevsky, Augusten Burroughs, David Sedaris,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Communicating without words. I sing Georgian music. I went to a world music festival with an a cappella group, and we were behind the Georgian group in the parade. We could not speak to each other because of our different languages, but we knew songs together and we sang with our hearts in order to communicate that which we could not say. It was the most beautiful musical moment in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Did you know that if you find a Monarch butterfly washed up on the shore after a storm it may still be alive? Lift it out of the damp sand and put it on your sweater, allowing it to dry off. A water color brush is useful for removing sand from its wings. When dry, it will take flight.
