About Me

Let your mind travel.

Let it go to places
whose people you will meet,
whose food you will taste,
whose beauty you will find.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm curious about the people at the places I'm visiting. And what better way to really meet people, share thoughts, food and places to stay is there than couchsurfing, right?

I live in a flat near the center of town with four lovely roommates. We have a big sofa in the kitchen that easily fits two people.

Music, Movies, and Books

music: too much to list? one day I want to bury myself in a Chopin Waltz, the next day I could dance to techno for hours .. I came to love Flamenco in Andalucia (Camarón de la Isla is very good!) apart from that I like especially those artists: daughter, Beirut, be svendsen, alt-j, Chet Faker, OK Kid, charity children, flume, SoKo, theAngelcy, Angus and Julia Stone, Stromae, Abby, moderat, Florence and the machine, bon iver, the xx, Manu Chao, Kate Tempest, Tash Sultana ...

I'm a film noob without a very sophisticated taste, but I do like some movies, for example: good bye lenin, Amélie, life of others, (500) days of summer, in between, into the wild, L'auberge Espagnole, Francis Ha, Before Sunrise / Sunset / Midnight, Thelma and Louise, Grand Budapest Hotel, Brokeback Mountain, Burn after reading...
generally I also tend to enjoy weird indie productions a lot

books: norwegian wood, the unbearable lightness of being, a thousand splendid suns, mornings in Jenin, , the diving bell and the butterfly, Americanah,...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have lived in Jerusalem, the Golden city, for one year. It never ceased to amaze nor frighten me.

Also climbing in Tenerife, what a landscape!!
