I live with my bf Thomas in Nantes, France, west coast. I used to work as a bookseller specialized in comics and children's books. This was my work but I spent a lot of time reading! I work as accountant in a children's book publishing house now. I like to listen music too, go to concerts, hang out and laugh with my friends, playing vidéo games, go to the movie, hiking and cycling. I also play bass in a band 🤘 We live with 2 cats. Also I am a vegetarian, I wear a lot of tattoos and glasse all the time because I am blind as a bat ! I'm a quiet person, shy in society, but if I'm surrounded by people I feel good with, I can be fun ! I like to talk about everything and learn from others, whatever their beliefs are.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people from everywhere. Feel free to ask me if you're in Nantes :) You have to know I'm busy, so if I host you, you have to be independant. Also, don't be offended if I say no to your request, I just want you to be fine and me in a good mood to spent a good time with you ! :) I found perfect hosts on couchsurfing during my travels and this is really important for me to feel safe in a place when you travel(Especially as a solo woman). I can afford that for you !

Interests

I spent a lot of time reading so I enjoy quiet moments with a warm cup of tea and a good book. Tinker, as well (I made frames with flowers I dry : lot of fun and patience). And it's important to me to spent time with my friends and family.

Hiking in a beautiful place is ALWAYS a good idea!

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like old stuff such as Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Davie Bowie, Neil Young... I sometimes listen to folk/country music (the Avett brothers, Broken circle Breakdown, Steve Gunn), I love punk/hardcore (Have heart, Trash Talk, Ceremony), classic stuff (Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin, QOTSA, Mark Lanegan...). Im not a big fan of actual music you can listen on radio... At all. Favorite books is hard to say ! My heart goes to comics (Black Hole, Batman, Saga, Tokyo ghost.... some talented french people like Larcenet) but I like reading everything, especially old fashion detective books (Hercule Poirot is my favorite character), adventures (Jack London...). My favorite author is Charles Bukowski. I love John Fante as well. Im trying to stop being an ignorant about movies for now...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a month in Alaska all by myself in 2016
Went to Montreal, bought a car, travelled around the US and sold the car 3 months later from Miami in 2018
