Overview
About Me
Hi! My name is Sarah and I'm a student at Clemson. I'll be visiting Santa Barbara for the summer, and I am so excited to spend some time in California. I like to explore new places, try new things, and meet new people. I spent this past summer studying and working in South Africa and everyday was unforgettable.
Things I Like: making new friends; listening to good music; reading a book; geocaching; foods that include avocado, cheese, or chocolate (but only one of the three); community service; wine nights; crafting; hangin' out or goin' out; being outside (if I got SPF50); and wasting time with good people
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing because I love to travel. I hope to take a gap year and go backpacking when I graduate, and there is no better way to see a new place than with the people who live there.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I listen to pretty much anything, but tend toward indie (folk, rock, or pop!)
Movies: If its a romantic comedy, I've already seen it
Books: I've been reading a lot of memoirs lately (gotta start collecting ideas for mine lulzzz), but one book I read last summer that I really enjoyed was Old Man and the Sea
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in South Africa by myself, which I guess is interesting.
Usually if people aren't impressed by that then I drop the fact that I got mugged twice.
And even that isn't the most interesting thing that happened.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've got lots of jokes and I can get along with anyone. I am a great listener, and also a great story teller.
There will never be a dull moment.
Countries I’ve Visited
Namibia, South Africa
