CURRENT MISSION

Looking for couches to surf on during my travels through Europe for the month of July!

ABOUT ME

I am a senior at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. I have lived in the Midwest all of my life, minus 3 years I lived in North Carolina. I am a hospitality management major with hopes of becoming a wedding planner. After I graduate I hope to move out of the Midwest so I can experience a new part of the country. I have never left the U.S. before and will finally get to when I spend a month traveling through Europe through July! I love my small, quiet Midwestern hometown but also love the pace and excitement of a city life. I love going to new places, meeting new people, and doing new things to broaden my horizons. I am a very busy person and am very much in need of a break for the summer. I can generally see 2 sides to every issus and am open-minded.

Enjoy life, take advantage of every opportunity, have no regrets, learn from mistakes, try something before deciding about it because you never know how it will be

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. It was a very humble experience to see the despair so many people went through and are still dealing with. Helping people rebuild their lives allowed me to appreciate every little thing in my own life, as well as see the greatness that can be achieved when people unite for a reason.

I want to learn more about other cultures and learn how to incorporate other traditions into my own. I want to be embraced in different cultures and really experience the local life during my travels. On the flip side, I want to teach others the meaning of my culture and share my traditions with them.
