About Me

I am a curious and confident person who enjoys exploring new places and getting a snapshot into other peoples lives. I feel like traveling helps me gain perspective and adds a sort of depth and appreciation for life. Id rather be actively engaged in my surroundings, rather then watching life happen around me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it is a wonderful way to connect people to each other, and to get a real feeling for a place. I would much rather stay with a local and make new friends then by myself in a hotel. This age of computers gives us the opportunity to really connect with people around the world, and i want to take advantage of that, because i feel connecting to one another is the real wealth of life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a 3 month long road trip with 3 other ladies all across the USA visiting different sustainable communities and creating an online database for others to explore. We visited over 40 projects and wrote articles featuring each one on our website, Drivingfoodhome.com . The whole trip was funded by donations, and it really opened my mind up to the possibilities out there

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to teach what i can and am open to anything you can teach me. I love to learn and share and believe we all have something to teach and to learn from each other and when we meet that will happen naturally.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my presence, time and attention. I would love to help out with daily activities in any way possible. I love spending time with children and helping the house run smoothly. Im not afraid to work hard or be put in new situations and would love to leave my host with a new life long friend....and of course i can share my home with you when the time comes :)
